International Malaria Day is observed annually on April 25th to raise awareness about the global fight against malaria. NMCP Sierra Leone remains committed to reducing malaria cases and ensuring a healthier future for all. This year, we continue our efforts to educate communities on prevention, treatment, and control measures.
As part of the commemoration, NMCP Sierra Leone will be organizing events and awareness campaigns to engage the public. These activities will highlight the importance of using mosquito nets, seeking early treatment, and adopting preventive measures to combat malaria.
We encourage everyone to take part in this initiative by staying informed and spreading awareness. Together, we can work towards eliminating malaria and safeguarding the health of our communities.
